On the day I rediscover this blog, later that afternoon, I received a call from my sis-in-law informing me abt my mom back in my hometown. My mom is having diabetes & high blood pressure. She fell in the bathroom & she is having a relapse of her past condition where she become unconcious & speak in tongue. We rushed back to see her & to send her to the hospital as my dad is having a swollen feet. He could not even lift her to the car, let alone drive with the swollen feet.

Now I know why I rediscover this blog, Mayau is watching over me. Telling me that he is around, watching over me & supporting me every single day. He made his presence noticed... Thank you dear Mayau ... my guardian angel :)

Mayau is no longer with us ... He had passed on about 5 days ago ... On a Thursday, 3rd of February at 7.37 am ... And being a miracle he is, he kept his promises to me ... Thank you so much Mayau ...

Mayau - u r always close by n eventhough I cant see u physically but I know u r still watching over me ... Thank you so much for ur love, for ur companionship all these while, for being there thru thick n thin, for accepting & loving Ewan, for giving me strength to go thru everything n anything & for being mine.

Mayau the miracle cat ... Gosh, he never fails to amaze me ... A true living miracle ... I must thank all of u who prayed for Mayau ... I would b truly grateful if u people keep on praying for him ... Words simply cant describe how I feel ... Thank you all :)

A hope for disabled cats

Today I need a miracle ... or at least prayers from all of u bcuz Mayau needs it ... He became handicapped abt 2 years ago ... n doctors had advised to put him to sleep ... But being him, I couldnt do it ... N not only did he managed to proved them wrong,( doctors said he couldnt last - d most was 1 year ) but he managed to walk again ... A miracle - yupp Plus love n hope ... People can say what they want ... but I swear I didnt make it up...

My boyfriend ( who is my husband now ) some sort of challenged Mayau - or in his own word - persuaded Mayau to stand on his own feet before our wedding - We somehow kid around saying that Mayau would b d ring bearer ... N Mayau did walk way b4 d wedding ... D power of love, faith n hope ...

He is one of d reason why Mayau last this long ... But right b4 d wedding, Mayau fell sick again ... I brought him to d clinic n again, doctor suggested d dreaded 'put-him-to-sleep' method ... I had a talk with Mayau n I sincerely asked him to hold on ... I said to Mayau " I need u ... I need u to see me through this " ...He recovered ...

Until this week - that is a month after my wedding.. I had d heart to heart talk with Mayau again ... saying that " I know I said earlier I need u to see me through d wedding ...but I also need u to b around n see me through my first born baby n other stuffs ... So please Mayau ..." But it's not working ...His breathing became rapid n I tried to make him comfortable in every way I could possibly think ... Tonight, he became worse ...I am so afraid that Mayau wont make it till tomorrow ... so please pray for him if u could ...Hopefully, d miracle would return ...

Thank u for all d love,faith n hope from my family n close friends n especially from my husband ...

An Introduction to Mayau

Hmmm ... to many, Mayau is just a cat ... Cute face, white whiskers, grey,black n white ginger-kinda thingy furs with an attitude to match his colourful attributes ...But u'll b surprised ... spend about 5 minutes with him n u'll know why he can't b classified in any of d common categories people normally classify cats ...

For a start, cats normally meows but he talks ... yeah ... u may wonder if this is d effects for having cats as part of d family throughout my whole entire life ... but like I said, just spend 5 minutes n u'll see or may I say, experience it urself ...

Then, there's also certain idiosyncrasies of his ... if he sense that u r somehow avoiding his charm to befriend u, u'll end up loving him instead of fearing him. My eldest brother had the honour of experiencing this during Mayau's first few attempts to highlight his intelligence.

Well, for now I'm off to work. But I'll b back with more ...
